Achievements / Report
To make the students more nature friendly and socially responsible, Sheth nktt nature and trekkers club decided to organize a fun and action packed day for its students. The college organised a trek for students across all streams and headed right in the heart of Mother Nature. The trek was organised at kondane caves, Karjat on 23rd August, 2019 and had 65 students students being a part of it. Accompanying them were three college professors and expert guides who made the day a knowledgeable experience. Students enjoyed traditional homemade meals for breakfast and lunch. The trek commenced at 10:00 a.m.sharp and the students began their new adventure. After reaching the caves, the student enjoyed the view and the waterfall. Also, they were made aware of the history of kondane caves by the guides. During the descend , the students join hands for a cleanliness drive. Collecting a garbage bag each, the students collected all the garbage strewn on the way in the bags and then properly dumped it. All in all, the experience was unique for the students as it was a first time for many in the troupe. Not only did the students enjoy the natural scenery but also fulfilled their social responsibility. The management of nktt college believes in providing holistic education to its students and this trek was one way of achieving this mission.
