I welcome you all to our esteemed institutes, ‘Sheth. N.K.T.T. College of Commerce and Sheth J.T.T College of Arts’, which have always believed in the holistic approach to academic development of the students on the campus.

As we are entering in the 3 rd decade of the 21 st century, India has an opportunity to capitalize on its demographic dividend to become a developed country in the real sense of the term. In this period of globalization and open trade, our education system has to bring innovations in academic delivery with a practical approach.

In NKTT college, we give due importance to academic development of students. Along with study, students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities. NSS & DLLE activities groom the students to be responsible citizens.

NKTT college has an outstanding infrastructure consisting of large, airy ICT enabled classrooms, computer laboratory, enriched library, indoor sports facilities with a well- equipped gymnasium and a 1000 sitting capacity community hall at the ground floor. The college building is eco-friendly, enabled with solar panels.

Qualified and experienced faculty members, constantly update themselves through research work and guide the students to undertake similar activities. Our College follows ‘Mentor-Mentee’ system to provide help to the student in academic and other matters.

We also run study centres for YCMOU and IDOL (University of Mumbai).

Understanding the opportunities in financial sector, the college has proposed to start a 3 years degree program in “Accountancy & Finance’ from the academic year 2020-21. We have also planned for more value added and job- oriented courses for the students in the coming years. College is also preparing to start ‘Research centres’ in the subjects of Economics and Commerce in next few years.

With constant encouragement and support from the management, sincere efforts of staff members and students, the college has earned a good reputation in the field of education in Thane and areas nearby.

The growth of our college is reflected in NAAC assessments over the three cycles as B+ grade in 3 rd cycle, far removed from C grade in the 1 st cycle and B grade in the cycle (II) I am confident that students taking admission into this college will leave as responsible citizens and contribute to nation building.
