  Prin. (Dr.) P.M.Karkhele
At Sheth NKTT College, empowerment of students for their all round development through education is our cherished motto and it is our aim to provide the best possible environment in which students can succeed. Our College has grown from its inception in 1990 to accommodate over 2500 pupils across the traditional under graduate courses of B.Com and B.A. as well as self financing courses such as M.Com (Advance Accountancy), B.M.S., B.B.I. and B.Sc. (IT).
Today education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is acquisition of knowledge and skills, building character and improving employability of our young talent, the future leadership. We are sure, through the painstakingly and gainfully developed NKT Culture, we have inherited a strong foundation to march ahead and achieve the within mentioned education objectives for a stronger and brighter India. Measures initiated by the Hon. Management, steps taken by the college administration, the willing contribution of the teaching and non-teaching staff and over whelming response and enthusiastic participation of my dear students in the college activities in the recent past all vouch for this. When all the constituents come together and work in unison, the expected results are bound to flow.
The College is moving towards its Third Cycle of Reaccreditation from NAAC in the next academic year. This aims at regular scrutiny of the quality of all stakeholders and will certainly go a long way in enhancing quality in education in accordance with the objectives of the institution and in serving society at large with sensitivity and commitment.
Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality. This is an ennobling process of growth. We can boldly say that we have excelled in every initiative that we undertook and we have stood together in facing the challenges in realizing quality education. In all this, we have made every effort to be sensitive and compassionate to the marginalized and the people in need. We are proud of such a wonderful institution dedicated to the cause of inclusive education for all.
We are fortunate to have a talented, highly committed teaching and support staff here to ensure the learning environment of our students is the best it can be. Our value based foundation and education provides the students with the necessary optimism, tradition, inclusiveness, service, compassion, tolerance and hope which are the basics of our Institution. We seek to instil in our students a passion for learning that will bring the knowledge and understanding they will need to make a positive contribution to the communities in which they live and work. The likelihood of achieving this is strengthened by the fact that we encourage personal discipline from our students. These are the keys to success in life after College.
I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involve themselves in all the extra- curricular activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body is a sign of a healthy and complete development. Hard work, dedication and perseverance are the most important traits in a person that lead to success. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, is to prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and women.
I take this opportunity to thank the father-figure of our institution, Hon’ble President Dr. Nanjibhai Khimjibhai Thakkar Thanawala for his support and encouragement. I also thank the Vice-President Shri Maganlal Thakkar, Secretary Shri Natwarlal Thakkar and Joint Secretary Shri Paresh Thakkar for their trust and motivation.

Wishing you all Good Luck.

Dr. P. M. Karkhele
